The reason you are thinking about using suppressors is a bad reason. Essentially you aren't hiding the sound, but making it harder to guess what weapon shot at you.
Sometimes running the silencer can get you a few extra shots before people realize that is Glaz holding the angle. Pro players know what Glaz and Blackbeard's guns sound like and will avoid line of site and refuse to peek if they suspect either of those operators are holding and angle. The only ones I can think of it being really used on is Glaz and Blackbeard to mask the sound of their weapons. It means that a suppressor on that particular weapon with that play style can be good.
Just because you saw a pro-league player using a suppressor doesn't mean suppressors are good. It is very important what guns they are using the suppressors on.
